I was educated and trained as a designer and architect. After spending 15 years as a corporate designer, I arrived at the freeing revelation that sitting behind a desk for hours on end, clicking a mouse, left me drained of all creative inspiration.
While I still had a passion for design, I desperately wanted a way to create and share that felt more meaningful and natural to me. Sooo…in 2020, after a layoff and at the height of the pandemic and in the middle of a divorce, I launched an art business to share my gifts and talents more authentically (read my story here).
As a fine artist, I strive to give voice to the nuanced emotions we share as humans. My architectural background, a love for narrative, and my faith inspire a continuous exploration of light, layering, and space - all of which merge to communicate the beautiful stories of our human vulnerabilities.
My work has been collected across the United States by homeowners, interior designers, architects, and corporate companies. I am also thrilled to have my wallcovering line available for you to browse here.
At the beginning of my journey and even now, watercolor gives me a beautifully calming and reflective way to express myself.
I am honored to share my work with you.
