Dawn M Trimble is a contemporary abstract artist and educator living in South Georgia. Her work, characterized by soft, gestural movements of non-figurative compositions, aligns with a desire to convey the nuances of our human experience. Dawn works primarily with water-based media - getting lost in the meditative process that exists between water and color in building a painting. 

Drawing inspiration from a career in architecture and interior design and a love for her faith, Dawn's work emerges from a spontaneous and explorative process of color merging, layering and sometimes the inclusion of language within her works on canvas or paper.

Her paintings have been commissioned by interior designers, corporate offices as well as individual collectors. Recently, she has collaborated with a creative studio in Minneapolis to create a collection of artist-inspired wallcovering (below). Dawn approaches her practice with the goal of creating meaningful work that invites reflection and evokes serenity within the observer.
