I loved going roller skating in my hometown. They have since torn the roller skating rink down, but the sweet memory of skating during my middle school years brings a smile to my face. Me, my brother and sister and whatever friends happened to be there would have a blast! I especially remember the very cool roller skates the high school girls used to wear: dark skates with bright wheels and pink pom-poms on the toe.
